Our sincerest condolences to Caitriona, Roisin and family on the death of their beloved Dad. Hugh was always the most gentle man, he will be fondly remembered.

The last time I spoke to Hugh was some years ago when he came into the office to place an anniversary notice for his late wife, the lovely, gentle Rosemary.
Prior to that I knew him as one of the leading wedding photographers in the north Kildare area, a professional who took great care in his work.
I remember when much of his expensive camera equipment was stolen, a cruel setback for any self-employed photographer but especially so for Hugh and Rosemary who only ever deserved the best in life.
He bounced back from that, a hallmark of the man now gone from us I guess, but his loss of Rosemary in 2011 was deeply, deeply felt.
I am not sure if he ever fully recovered from that blow and I know he was unwell in recent times. He will be fondly remembered as is Rosemary to this day.
To Hugh’s daughters Róisín and Caitríona whom he spoke of with pride, his grandchildren, sons-in-law, sister and brother, relatives and friends I extend my deepest sympathies.

To Keith and all the Durham family. You are in our thoughts at this sad time. May Hugh rest in peace.
