Happy memories of my "big" cousin Hugh who so laughingly - and kindly - tormented me on oh so many childhood visits to Drogheda, and later as a student in Dublin. Belated condolences from Chicago. Unfortunately I only heard the sad news today due to personal reasons and want to let Joy and family know that I am thinking of them in this lonely time. I will have his kind soul remembered locally - as for me, he'll never be forgotten.
Condolences to Hugh’s wife and family. Hugh was an outstanding local government official . Many of the finest developments in Dublin owe much to his involvement. So sorry to hear of his death
