I got to meet & know him when he moved into Esker Lodge Nursing Home. My mother Phyllis Smith-Mckeon lived there at the time & Hugh knew her from their childhood & was able to tell me loads that I did not know about - like Mam’s first boyfriends name - very fun conversations the three of us had
