Dear Carmel,
Hearing of Hugh's passing is one of the saddest moments I've ever had. It may be a while since I last saw yourself and Hugh (Timmy's birthday 20yrs or so ago I think) but time means nothing to me - Hugh and yourself were often in my thoughts. Hugh is always someone who brings a smile to my face when I think of him. I was devastated to hear of his sudden passing last Friday. In our youth he was always so kind & generous to all of us, often driving a gang around all over the place in his red Ford Capri. Always out having the craic but so so together at the same time, wearing his suits and ties & studying to become an accountant, while we were all semi hippies and a bit scruffy. I never did and never will forget Hugh.
Wishing you and the boys and Bernadette and all of the extended families the deepest peace and comfort at this very sad time.
