Hugh O'Connor

To Gertie and Hughie's children, my sincerest condolences to all of you on the passing of your lovely dad. I haven't seen him in a long time, but still remember him and Gertie visiting Jim and Betty years ago, when we were all younger. Your mother Gertie was a lovely lady, and he a jovial man. Life changes, but I'm sure the memories of other days will never be forgotten. Condolences too, to grandchildren and extended family. And not forgetting Mary and Pat Hynes at the loss of a valued and kind friend. I will say a gentle prayer for all of you in your time of loss.

Knew Hugh as a member of Ben Dunne Gym, Blanchardstown. His presence in the gym every morning and his noticeable engagement with gym members was always pleasant, humorous and jovial to everyone's delight. He always created an atmosphere of laughter amongst gym members. His absence was noticeable in recent times because of illness and sadly his presence will be no more. Sincere sympathy to all his family. R.I.P. Hugh.
