Heartfelt condolences to Aunty Pam and all the family on the sad passing of Uncle Hugh. He was a lovely man with a great love of life, his family and fishing. On his advice, we went dapping for trout on Lough Mask and had an amazing few days with his ghillie, John Joe. He will be missed by us all.

Dear Brian and the O'Donnell family,

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Please accept our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time.

We hold such fond memories of him—his warmth, kindness, and the genuine welcome he always extended to us and all of your friends during the countless visits to your home as we grew up. His generous spirit, including the many lifts to and from Courtown, saved more than just tired legs; they reflected the thoughtful and caring man he was.

He brought 98 years of positivity and light to the world, and his legacy will live on in the lives he touched so deeply.

My deepest sympathies to Pam and the entire O’Donnell family on the passing of Hugh. He was a lovely Manager to work for. Kind, tolerant and with the patience of Job. He needed to be all of that. I was one of the many who joined the Bank in the early 70’s after the six month Bank Strike. We were barely out of nappies and clueless. With his patience and understanding he worked wonders with us. I have such fond memories of my time in Gorey. Rest in Peace Hugh
