We had the delight of meeting Hughie on our Nelson Doyle Dance Trip to Ireland three years ago .
He spoke of you his family and his community with deep affection .
He made me laugh with his quick wit and also gave inspiration to be as passionate about politics and engagement as he was . “ Brilliant!” will ring out as his expression in my mind when I think of Hughie . I am sad he has passed and we wish you peace and wellbeing.
