Very sad on being informed of Ian's passing. We were at school together and indeed played a bit of football some years later. I haven't seen him in recent years but was aware that he had been ill. He was always great company, the world becomes that bit duller when people like Ian are taken from us.

Jill, I was so sad to hear of Ian's passing. I will always remember the laughs we had in Dubai, Ian's great sense of humour and his lack of football skills. Please remember you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Ian had a significant positive impact on my life. I really enjoyed talking to him, working with him, laughing with him and learning from him. My condolences are extended to his family.
