Sorry to hear of Ian's death I haven't seen him since we lived near each other in Ballinacurra Gdns. over 34 yrs'ago I just remember him as a very small little boy and very funny and full of mischief.

St. Padre Pio, our invaluable protector,
we come to you in prayer, we plead with you
to grant us grace so that the doors of the Holy City,
that heavenly Jerusalem may be opened to the soul
of our dearly departed.

It was indeed a humbling and grace filled privilege to have experienced
and to have accompanied Ian on his spiritual journey .
Ian had great devotion to Saint Padre Pio
and prayed daily to him.
Rest in peace precious one and may your reward
be forever great in heaven.

I never met Ian but heard about Ian from a relative recently who met Ian in hospital and said what a wonderful, lovely fun Man he was. Indeed Ian kept my relative going with fun stories and seemingly many laughs and late night banter!

Gone far to young and may you take some comfort knowing how his courage has helped so many.

Ava to lose a father is very difficult but listening to Ian talking on you tube you could hear in his voice the love and how proud he was of you. May you take great comfort in having such an amazing Dad.

I hope Ian feels the sand on his feet as I heard he wanted to walk on the beach.
