I would like pass on my sincere condolences to the Walsh family and his daughter Ashling on the loss of Ian. He was one of a kind and always had a unique take on things. Ian took me under his wing when I moved to Cork many years ago. I have so many great memories of hanging out in Cork and going to gigs with Ian, Paul and Trevor. I was lucky enough to bump into Ian each time I was in Cork and the meetings were always memorable. He will be a huge loss but his legacy will be his kindness and comedic genius that will live long in our memories. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

My deepest condolences to all the Walsh family, I have been working everyday with Ian since last year and was so shocked and upset when I heard the news. Ian is a credit to you all. I will deeply miss him and his camaraderie, his genuine nature and immense sense of humour and it is with profound regret that I never got to share an IPA with Ian in person.
