I met Ian many years ago at Casa holiday centres. I remember his zest for life and his sunny personality. He was always so much fun to be around. May Ian rest in peace.

Ian you are missed by all the Staff and Friends at RehabCare. Thank you for always making us smile when we visited killabbey. We have fond memories of holidays and days out together. I remember in Spain when there was a storm and how you thoroughly enjoyed the lightning and wild weather. Ian, you had such great humor, so kind hearted and you were always a gent.

I was so saddened today to hear about Ian's passing.
He was a good friend to my brother Eoin and we saw a lot of Ian as he worked on our local parks and fields. Although he would often be too busy chatting to work when I saw him!
He always had a big hello for me and would ask after my sisters and mum. He was a true gentleman with such a lovely manner. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.

To Ian’s family,
I was so sorry to learn of Ian’s death. We first met many years ago on bus tours with CASA. Ian was a joy to talk to and always came over for a chat. His times with CASA on holiday centres over the years have provided us with many cherished memories too. It was great to meet him again at socials over the past few years when the Southside groups got together. We will miss him hugely. May his gentle soul rest in peace. He will not be forgotten.

He will be dearly missed within the group. He was a great friend to many,articulate and always ensured the socials ran smoothly.The music played was often not to his liking but he accepted it. May he rest in true Peace now.
