So sorry to hear of Ignatius death R.I.P.
He certainly didn’t want to leave this world too soon, leaving behind his wonderful wife Maria and family, as well as extended families
Tony’s memories of Eggo are numerous, in particular all those years he played with him at Stillorgan Bowl, and visiting license premises on the way home, even the famous night of Hurricane Charley ‘86. Thank God they got home safely
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, during this very difficult time. Rest in Peace Eggo.

Deepest sympathy to Maria and all the family on passing of Eggo my uncle. I’m was blessed to have had his presence in my life and enjoyed all the years working with him in the shop. To say Uncle Eggo was a character does not do him justice, he had such witty sense of humour and was a great family man. I will always be so grateful for all the Dublin football matches he brought me to as young boy and passed on the love of Dubs which remains with me to this day, what gift he gave me bringing to so many matches. To my aunty Maria I wish you every blessing and comfort at this time. I have no doubt all your family will watch over you as will Uncle Eggo from heaven.

Uncle Eggo say hello to my mam in heaven I’ve no doubt she is with you as you both were such pals as brother and sister when you both were here with us. Rest in peace.

I remember when he opened his shop many many years ago. There will be great chat in heaven with all the St Marys up there now. My sisters Mary and Fran Healy (64 St Marys Park) died in June and November. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing.
