Very sad to hear of Miss Browne's passing. Such a lovely lady who always had a smile and a kind word for us growing up. Had some lovely chats with her in latter years. My sympathies to her family and friends.
Ps. I forgot to say that, yes, I will bring you a flower from my garden for you when I next visit Ireland.
Dear auntie Imelda, thank you for all you have done for me and my mother. You will always be remembered for your wit and wisdom. Memories over time from my tween years visiting you at Ringville, attempt at my first romance under the willow tree in your garden, all the Squires, the fresh eggs, the rhubarb, gooseberries, and apples some that possibly came from an apple tree planted in my name. Your apple pei´s and christmas puddings will be missed but never forgotten, just like you. Thank you. RIP

Fondest memories of 'Auntie Melda' as we used to call her on our many annual visits to Cobh as children with our mother 'Queenie Bogue' her cousin. Imelda was a welcoming, kind and loving person to us and made great fried breakfasts I recall. She will be sadly missed by all family and her very many friends in Cobh. I once took Imelda, my mother Queenie and her sister Mary Bogue to lunch at the Golf Club, 7 or 8 years ago, there was lots of noisy laughter, and some teasing between them. Another diner said to me as we were leaving, that I had my hands full with those three! We will never forget you. God go with you. Celia, Marian and Anthony Rickards, and Sarah and Eleanor Davies and Ellery and Gus Locke. Sincere condolences to all her family and friends.

I was very sad to hear of passing of our lovely friend Imelda. Every time l came into the room in Cobh Hospital Imelda would give everyone such a lovely smiling hello. She was a very witty, kind lady and always had a lovely word to say to you. She was so proud of her letter and flowers from the President when turning 100.The room was full of flowers which she loved. It was an honour to have met Imelda. I will always remember her fondly. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Where to begin......my deepest sympathies to all the family and to all who knew and loved Ms Browne. I always knew her as Ms Browne.

A lifelong and trusted friend of my beloved Mum who shared not only their love of Yorkshire Terrior Dogs (Squire) but also their love of God. Ms Browne gave a home to so many over the years who moved to Cobh for work and stayed at her guesthouse "Ringville" and she was also a very avid Bridge player too.

A proud Waterford woman but who loved Cobh so much, she was the greatest neighbour anyone could hope to have. Thank you Ms Browne for all you did for Mum and for me and as the two longest residents of Bond Street now reunited in heaven, please give Mum a hug from me, just like the hug you gave me. May you also be reunited with the many "Squires" who you shared your home with, your four legged children as you would call them.

Until we meet again, may you keep safe in the gentle and loving arms of Jesus who you loved.
Rest in Peace Imelda
