Ingrid was my aunt, but there was a time in my life when I considered her and Kenneth more my family than my parents .I will never forget the time they took me in for a few months when I didn't know where to go. Ingrid was a very special person. She was so attentive and kind to me, growing up next door .She had the same warm welcome for my children in recent years. She was a talented artist, cook, golfer and bridge player., I will always remember her elegance and style, along with the great fun we had together.

Ingrid was a wonderful next door neighbour who loved to be part of our family celebrations. She had a great interest in all our children. She added great colour to all our lives and we will miss her hugely. May Ingrid rest in peace.

It is with great sadness I read of Ingrid’s passing. My deepest sympathy to her German family and to her family in Boyle especially Mavis, Pam, Nora Pat and your families. Ingrid was my bridge partner for many years. Along with being a great bridge player she was great company. She loved to tell of her early years in Germany and the fairytale ending when she met Kenneth in Boyle. She was a perfectionist in everything she undertook. Rest in peace Ingrid.

We are saddened by the passing of Ingrid. She loved the game of golf and she was a big presence at Boyle golf club where she was the First Lady Captain in 1972 at the Knockadoobrusna course…subsequently she was Lady President in 2003. Always meticulous in everything she took on…she will be remembered for her wonderful flower arrangements on the major competition days. Condolences to her family in Germany and the Stewart families in Boyle.
