A truly great woman. I knew Irene when I was with the HSE in Coolock, she was always so helpful but more than that she cared about everyone and had the gorgeous laugh. I can only imagine the loss which will be felt by her family and friends. Rest in peace Irene 🌹

Words cannot express the void that Irene s passing will leave . She was the salt of the earth ; old school with a great sense of humour . She would go above and beyond and loved fearlessy . Thinking of all her lovely family and Pat at this sad time . My daughter Lorraine loved her dearly and will be one happy person to have Irene up with her now . Irene mailed me every so often to tell me that shestill spoke lorraines name in her home . Hope she knew how much that meant to me . Fly high beautiful soul . Too precious for this world xxxxxxx💔💔

To Irene’s children and extended family, please accept my condolences on your very sad loss. Irene was such a huge part of our community and gave so much of her time to build a better community and a place to be proud of. She took such pride in her children and supported you all through thick and thin. Your mam had the most wonderful sense of humour and the ability to make you feel at home. A truly wonderful lady, a good friend and neighbour who will be missed and fondly remembered.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Irene, full of mischief, good for a laugh and always had a listening ear. She was a mother to all in Jigsaw. Darndale has lost a character. Thinking of Jennie, Rhonda, Anthea, Amanda, Geoff, adam, Julie and Deirdre, Pat and her extended family. Good night Irene, rest in peace.
