Carol, David, Brian, Katie and all the Locke family. We are so sad at the passing of your dear Mum, Irene. May God give you his comfort during these difficult days. We have some special memories of your Mum. She adored her grandchildren and was always present when one of them had a special occasion. We remember her delight at Eoghan's angelic singing as a child! We also remember her love of crafts. For many years she came to the Ladies Christmas craft night. I will always remember the time that we discovered we owned the same dress! We joked about being fashion twins!

It’s with sadness that I heard about the passing of your dear Mum Irene from her great friend Clare. Irene was a cherished member of our Tuesday morning craft class in the Tesco community rooms in Ballincollig. She had a most talented pair of hands. She took great pride in having hand crocheted her own wedding dress and shared a photo of her wedding day with us. We ( the group) were in awe of this amazing work of art. She was such a gentle and pleasant lady and we all enjoyed her company. She always spoke so fondly about her family. We missed her so much when her health deteriorated and she could no longer come to the group.
Sincere sympathy also to the Bateman and extended Locke families at this sad time.

I just want to thank everyone for there lovely messages. I only learnt over the last week how to use RIP and view yere messages and i!m meant to be the tech guy. I can honestly say that I've checked it every couple of hours and read all of yere messages numerous times from start to finish. To say it gives me great comfort is an understatement. My mum was an incredible women. My sister Carol put it so better into words today than I ever could. To Carol Brian and Katie I love ye my friends ye mean the world to me and for everyone that knew my mum ye will always have a special place in my heart.
