I knew iris when she lived in Galway where she grew up as a young girl. and she stayed friends with my sister, Francie from childhood.

Iris was my much-loved Auntie and Godmother, Great-aunt to my daughter Mary and Great-grand-aunt to her son Jude. She was also the treasured younger sister of my Mum, Doreen Coghlan.

My heartfelt condolences to my cousins George, Olwyn and Neil and all their families, other family members and to her wide circle of friends. We will all miss her so much but she has left us with many happy memories. Rest in Peace, Auntie Iris
