Deepest sympathy to Jim and Howard on the very sad death of your dear Iris. We have such fond memories of wonderful warm visits with both Jim and Iris at your home . Iris was always such an interesting, kind, generous and welcoming person whom we will miss so much. Her suffering is over and she is now at peace in Heaven

I’m so very sorry to hear of Iris’s passing. I have many happy memories of visiting Coursetown House from 1989 onwards, where Iris was always so welcoming. The hospitality and attention to detail that she gave to all of her guests was unequalled. She will be missed by so many, but especially by my dear friends Jim and Howard, and by the wider family. My deepest sympathies to you all.

She was wonderfully brilliant at every endeavor embarked upon. Meticulous, precise and exact are attributes well related to Iris. The vivid memories of Iris happily occupied at home over the years in Coursetown House will always remain, the gardens she loved punctuated by dazzling golden daffodils of all varieties in the Spring, the countless pots of assorted beautiful jams and chutneys, the glorious orchard fresh apples, the most gorgeous canine and felines often basking in sunlight or confidently striding across the yard, the interesting conversations about the best scone baking methods, the wonderful laughter and the warmest of company.
She will be truly missed but so fondly remembered by us. Rest In Peace Iris. x
