My thoughts are with Isobel’s family and friends, and with Isobel herself. I had only a few classes with Isobel, all on a Friday from 5-6pm. All I knew about her was that she would always politely rush off at the end of class to make sure she caught the bus back to Wexford on time. One evening I saw her sitting at the stop a few hours after class. She must have missed her bus. She seemed very earnest and intelligent. May she rest in peace. ♥️

Our school community was shocked at the devastating news. Isobel was a remarkable student, gifted academically and socially. She was held in very high esteem by both staff and students, and it came as no surprise when she was elected Head Girl in her final year with us. Isobel was an amazing role model to younger students, she was focused, confident, intelligent, diligent, and serious about her studies, but she balanced all of that with a wonderful sense of fun and kindness. She was sensitive to the needs of others and most honest in her interactions with all.
We can’t begin to understand your heartache at this time, but hope you find some comfort in knowing how special your cherished Isobel was to so many. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
