I’m so sorry to hear of Isolde’s passing. She was always so warm and friendly in SJOG HQ. And she volunteered in Glenageary, with great kindness. Sympathies to you all.

So sorry to have recently heard of the passing of Isolde. My deepest sympathy to her family, friends and former colleagues. I knew Isolde in her role at Hospitaller House over many years when up from Kerry for meetings. I very much appreciated her support in myriad different ways at front of house. I valued and still value that mutual cordiality we had over quite a space of time. Ar dheis De go mbeadh a anam dilis.

I was so sorry to hear of Isoldes death. She was such a lovely lady and a valued member of the Wednesday Aqua class. We will miss you. May her family and all who mourn her be blessed and comforted.🙏

Isolde was present at all our important ceremonies. She loved to sing along at our concerts and graduations and loved chatting to children afterwards. I have known Isolde over most of her working life. In her role as receptionist she was very much the face of the organisation, and certainly gave practical expression to the Saint John of God values of Hospitality Compassion & Respect. As a colleague she always went above and beyond to assist and facilitate us all. She was also a great listener, and many’s a good conversation was had over a cup of coffee in the staff canteen. She always spoke so lovingly and proudly of her family and I know she had looked forward to assisting with the care of her little granddaughter after retiring . I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to her husband Tommy , daughters Sarah & Emily and little granddaughter Beatrix and extended family and friends.

Sincere condolences to Tommy, Sarah, Emily and the extended family. I had the privilege of knowing Isolde for more than 40 years, all the time she was receptionist at Hospitaller House for Saint John of God Services and since her retirement. Through her quiet manner and dedication she gave a wonderful example of hospitality to all in the way she welcomed people and looked after them when they visited Hospitaller House for meetings and conferences.

She was a wise, loyal and supportive colleague to all of us who worked with her. I am personally indebted to her for the innumerable acts of kindness and support which she extended to me. Isolde was simply a loving, caring colleague and friend. She was a member of the Saint John of God Choir and sang with the Choir at a recent funeral of a Brother just 3 weeks ago.

We, Brothers of Saint John of God are indebted to her and our Community Mass on Thursday and Friday this week was offered for the repose of her soul and for God's blessing on Tommy and the family.
May she rest in peace.

Heartbroke to hear of Isolde's passing.

So many happy memories of 1970's Summers on the River Shannon, camping trips around Ireland including her cousin Catherine & Coakley's in Wicklow and inter-railing around Europe in Summer 1980.

Isolde was perpetually in good form, always sought our the positive and was so stoical and courageous in the face of her devastating illness...an inspiration to all who knew & loved her.

Deeply regret I will be unable to attend the celebration of Isolde's life on Saturday as I am away in Italy till next week.
