While I did not know Ita personally her legacy, in her daughter Maeve has made the most positive of contributions to schools and clergy in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin. Rest, pleased and satisfied with a life's work that has done enormous good. May God bring you peace and happiness and may such blessings be upon Maeve and all her family.

Ita was one of the first volunteer Bereavement Counsellors who joined the Drogheda Community Services over 25 years ago. She gave many years voluntary service and whilst always very professional in her approach to the counselling she was also a dote of a woman, mischievously funny, warm and a good friend. We will all miss her now that she has gone to her reward. Kind regards to all her family.
