I was so very sad to hear of Ita’s untimely passing. Ita was a lovely, gentle lady. She was always welcoming whenever we visited the family in Ireland from England. I remember as a teenager, many moons ago, calling in to Ned & Ita’s with my Father P.J. O’Rourke .(In those days they were the first stop on the road in Lissycasey). Ita would fill the table with food regardless if we had eaten or not. I never forgot that. She was so kind to me. In later years my Mother Teresa & I always visited her for a cup of tea & a catch up. Bless her, May she rest in peace.
