ITA O'MAHONY

Dear Marie, I have just learned of your mother's passing, I am so deeply sorry I was on holiday and unaware of your huge losses. Ita was a huge part of my life both in Redmonds Irish dancing, Camogie and her door was always open to us when we were young. I have many great memories of Ita driving us to dance in various venues, when we won first prize for the best float in the Patricks Day Parade & when she invited a group of us (lads & girls from the club)in to her place in Crosshaven and fed us unexpectedly! What great memories and great laughs we had!
My deepest condolences to you Marie, Keith, Ian, Edwin, Luke, Daniel & Killian, to Ann, Ted, Anthony, & all Ita's extended family & friends at this very sad time.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace with her beloved Dan & John.

So many happy memories of Mrs. O'Mahony growing up in the Square, she taught me to walk and she bribed me with biccies to do laps of the block with her and she knitted me gorgeous clothes for my dolls.
