Ivan O'Mahony

My deepest sympathy to Majella and the O'Mahony family. I was very fortunate to spend time with Ivan and Liam in several of their many stops along the way.

Godspeed my old friend and may the Lord hold you and Liam close. You are missed by many.

It still seems unreal to me that Ivan is not with us anymore. We were just talking about him and Majella coming to visit so I could push him into the pool and make him eat too much spicy food in Texas. Ivan was a truly unique person with a heart of gold. We met more than 20 years ago and I'm so glad we did. I know that he was constantly searching for something that eluded him. And I know that his heart was forever broken about Liam. I love and will miss my dear friend, Ivan. I'm grateful for all the memories. My heart goes out to all who are dear to him. It is a great loss. Many condolences.

Gwen and I are so sorry to hear that Ivan has passed away. We knew Ivan in Dallas many years ago and always enjoyed his company (usually at the Dubliner). We have not seen him in a very long time but remember him fondly.
