My sincere sympathy on Ivor's death. I spent a short period in the Sailing Club crewing for Ivor. In spite of his best efforts sailing was not for me. Ivor was a very strong influence in Rotary over the years and he will be greatly missed by the members.

I am very sorry to have to write to you both at this time.
Ivor was a wonderful man and a loyal patient of mine over many years.
I visited him not that long ago in the nursing home and he was in good form.Mass was about to start and he said he'd stay for it as you can't be too careful! With a definite smile as you can imagine.
When speaking of you it was always with great admiration and pride,but I'm sure you know that.He also spoke of the loss of your mother when she died.
He will be missed by all in Rotary.May he resti I peace.

Ray got to know him many years ago through the Sailing Club, and Hazel more recently , during her regular Parish visits to Newbrook Nursing Home.
