I heard to-day,26 Oct, of Jacinta`s death and and wish to send you my sincere sympathy.Your attention and care for her was incredible and probably added a few years to the life of a very brave woman.

Jacinta, with all of your struggle, determination and strength, you showed your true character.
John, you epitomise love. You could not have done any more for your sweetheart and I'm so very sorry for your loss. I do apologise for not making the funeral, I had hoped to but was unable. However, I was thinking of you at that time.

The Bible assures every Christian that "absent from the body, present with the Lord." I trust that Jacinta is enjoying that blessed state and is no longer suffering or in pain. It hurts to lose a love-one, but she is so much better off where she IS than where she WAS!
I am sorry I never had a chance to meet Jacinta. I knew a lot about you from everything John told us. I am so sorry that your time with him has come to an end. My condolences to your family and friends. I know they are missing you very much.
