I remember when Jack asked me at my first interview the weight of a gallon of water, and of course I did not know, and he looked at me and said from now on you will never forget, and I have not. He was a great mentor and father figure to us raw recruits. Even when chastising for some error he had a twinkle in his eye and a wry smile that was genuine. Never forgotten R.I.P. CASO

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. He was a larger than life character in Aer Rianta and I have fond memories of him interviewing me when I applied for the role of Industrial Security Guard (ISG) back in the late 80s. I can clearly remember almost being able to see my reflection in his highly polished black shoes under the interview table :-) He leaves a great legacy in his wonderful sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
