My deepest and sincere sympathies to all of Jack's beloved family on his very sad passing from this life to the next.

It really is the end of an era as Jack was what I would call a "special one". He played both too and for his audiences with genuine love and sincerity. My late Mum's favourite piece of music was Chopin's Nocturne and anytime he would see my Mum in the audience he would gladly play it for him, hence it was played as she left the church but sadly not by Jack.

He accompanied me many years ago at the Cobh Ramblers Talent Show and his work with Tops of the Town is legendary.

Thank you Jack for the joy and smiles you brought to so many people, especially my Mum. I am sure she will request her favourite from you in heaven.

May your gentle soul rest in peace and may your memory live long in the hearts of those who loved you and knew you. RIP
