My deepest sympathies to Una and the Raeside Family and to all who mourn the loss of our beloved Jack. During my years in charge of the Community at North Richmond Street (1998 - 2004), I got to know Jack, Una and the Raeside Family. Jack looked after the maintenance and was a skilled and diligent master of many crafts. I kept in touch with Jack and Una over all these years. I thought I knew him well until I heard all that the celebrant had to say about him at his Funeral Mass.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Jack's family and friends. Jack was a great friend to the 35th Donore Scout Group over decades freely giving of his musical and building skills when occasion called. He will be very fondly remembered and missed.

Una, Doug, Ian, Luke, Dermot and family. I was so so sorry on hearing of Jack's sudden passing. I can't believe he is gone. I have such lovely memories of him and his friendship with Bob indeed our whole family. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

On behalf of myself and Una and the 35th Dublin Scouts, Donore Avenue I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Una and the family on Jack's sad passing. Jack was always a great supporter of the 35th scouts, so that when we were building our scout den Jack was the man for the job. That was 40 years ago and the den is still in use 4 or 5 night's a week facilitating the activities of over 100 young people. Rest in Peace Jack, you were one very special person.

Very sad to hear of Jack's passing. Wonderful memories of my Dad taking me to visit Jack, Una and family in Dunsinea on many occasions as a child and playing snooker with the lads on the big table. Lovely memories also of playing music with Jack at many Scout sing-songs and Masses. He had a terrific repertoire of songs and a beautiful big 12-string guitar.
