I just learned from our good friend Pat King this evening 22nd April of Jack’s passing. I am saddened to hear this news about the man that I got to know when on his many visits to The Glencree Valley, where Peggy originally came from . Through my friendship with the Smith family I got to know Jack in times of celebration and times of loss and sadness for Peggy’s family. It was always a pleasure to meet Jack on those occasions.
To Peggy and Declan my heartfelt condolences in your loss of your husband and father . A good man .
