I borrow the wisdom of Charles Shultz when I say that it is not the great achievers and the rich and powerful we remember, its the ones who cared and made a difference to our lives. Jack Maher was truly one of the giants in that sense. For that I am deeply indebted to Mr. Maher and will always fondly remember him. I am far away and cannot be there to attend his funeral but please accept my condolences. May he rest in peace.
