Neil and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Jack O’Donnell on his recent death, and to let you know that we are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Yes, Jack was my Godfather and we always kept in touch and my daughter, Sheila, and I went to surprise him when he celebrated his 90th Birthday in 2012. We danced the night away at Durkin’s in Ballaghaderreen and next morning when we went to Mass in Monasteraden, there was Jack’s tractor parked outside, drove all the way from Drimacoo, not about to miss Mass, had a picture taken with him, which I will always cherish. May the beautiful man “Rest in Peace. Love and Prayers.
