I just heard today from Cormac that another of our lovely colleagues from the good old AI days had died I remember the weekly calls from Jack to the Lab in Doonally for his supplies and always a fond word and his good humour.. he has left memories with lots of people and what a fitting tribute to him

If your seeing this, I want to say just how much jack meant to me as a grandfather. He was always full of life and ready to play cards and claimed how he would beat me in an arm wrestle. I cant express the amount of sadness that in my heart at this moment, but I try to look to the good things he did in his life. I take pride in knowing I was given a name that had great history and a even greater grandfather.
