Jack was a force of nature, impossible to ignore and with an amazingly memorable and hilarious personality. He was an immensely popular member of our golf club in Rush. He will be sadly missed. Regrets and regards to all his loved ones.

So sad Bernie and John to hear the news of your dads passing thinking of you both and Joanne, Eóin, Niamh and Conor and extended family at this sad time. Your Da was a gentleman I knew him from playing cards with my Da Eddie, there was always a lot of laughing going on when my Da would be telling me about things you're Da would come out with so I can only imagine the banter between the lot of them on card night. I hope like me your memories of your Da will bring a smile to your face and a lovely warm feeling in your heart take care. Hopefully there all playing cards again

He was always asking me about my Aunt Julie Jackson who worked with him in Levers, always reminiscing about the annual works away trips. A brilliant story teller and supporter of the Dubs. Great meeting him every Wednesday and Sunday in Rush Golf Club and chatting about how well he played over a few pints. He'll be sadly missed but now he's reunited with his beloved Clare. Thanks for the memories Jacko.
