Having lost my brother in an accident (30 years ago ) it breaks my heart to see families go through the shock and sadness of an accident. The loss , the vacant chair at the table, the missed birthday,s and occasions will hurt..but time is a great healer.. the beautiful memories will live on ,and the sadness will lessen. Be patient with your grief.
We grieve because we loved. How lucky we were to have had that love

At this difficult time words mean nothing but in a few weeks , months however long it takes someone will read back over these messages and realize just how popular a boy Jack was. Every Weds for months he came into us in Pairc Ui Chaoimh hurling and football. Some days we weren’t sure if he wanted to be there or not . But we always got that smile . I don’t know if Jack would have ever played for Cork but it wouldn’t be for the lack of trying.
