I am so very saddened by this...Jack was a good friend and colleague and we shared a good number of fine adventures together. I had been planning to visit Jack in August. I am currently with a group of 28 at Callanish for the Lunar Standstill., where Jack had joined one of my groups in 2019. Last year Margaret Curtis passed, and now Jack...two of the true giants in authentic and soulful research and experience of global humanities real history. He will be greatly missed and will be always remembered. I am grateful to have known him and have been his friend.

My deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Jack Roberts. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but his work on stone circles and sheela-na-gigs has had a big influence on my life. I first found his map of the sheela-na-gigs of Ireland back in 2013 while here on our honeymoon, which turned our honeymoon trip into a three-week-long sheela hunt! Thanks to him, I am passionate about not only the sheelas but also the stone circles of Ireland. (I'm American, with Irish ancestors.) He was a giant of a man - his work will live on as his legacy.
