It is with great sadness I read of the passing of my old friend Jackie .I first met Jackie back in 1965 when I went threshing with him down the Creagh Road , Ruane , Ashford and Taughmaconnell.Jackie always treated me well and was a consummate gentleman to all of us lucky enough to know him.We shared tunes and mouthorgans many times..My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.Circumstances do not allow me to be present at his final farewell but I'll be there in spirit .May Jackie's noble and gentle Soul Rest in Peace.Ní feicimíd a liethéad arís !!
