I was saddened to learn of the death of Jackie. I extend my sincere sympathy to the Morris family, I remember him as a good man who was dedicated to Ulster Bank in Ennis.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Jackie’s death. My sincere condolences to Kitty and all the extended Morris family.

We worked together in South Area Retail Banking in Ulster Bank in the 1990s. Jackie was an esteemed colleague, and an outstanding banker who served the community of Ennis so well for so many years. He provided me with great support which I have never forgotten. He was considerate, kind, great company with a great sense of humour. He was such a positive person, and I always felt better for having met Jackie Morris. May he rest in peace.

I worked with Jackie in Westport and we had such fun all the stories from the mobile bank with Sean Ketterick and we also worked together in Galway. Jackie was a gentleman did things right but we had great times. A husband and a dad to be proud of.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Jackie’s passing. I know he had been very ill over a long period, but he fought it with grace and courage. I knew Jackie most of my life, particularly in the early days in the Ulster Bank, where he had a successful career.
I had many happy times in Jackie’s company and shall always treasure them. I regret that I am indisposed and will not be able to attend the funeral.
