I just learned of Jackie's passing today when I tried to call with festive greetings. My sincere condolences to all family members - she spoke about you all with such love and warmth. My mam (Kathleen RIP 28/10/2022) was her room mate in SVPH in July ... we all had great chats together and lots of laughs. I am sure Jackie and my mam will be looking down on us all - especially for this first Christmas without them - as they knit away to their hearts content!

When I heard Jackie had passed my heart broke for Jill and her family. I've known Jill over 20 years. We became best friends in EGS. It was when I stayed over in the Quinn household I met Jackie. She was a wonderful lady, a powerhouse. I remember her love for baking and that she was always welcoming. Even when Jill & I acted up after nights out, Jackie would pretend to be cross with us, but the next day we would have a good laugh about it. I loved visiting the Quinn house in Kindlestown Greystones. I'll treasure those memories forever. My thoughts & prayers to Jill, her Dad, brothers & sister Laura. I'm so sorry for your loss. You’ve always kept my place at your table warm for me, loved and cared for Jade in my absence and been a wonderful Nana to the Grandchildren we share and for these things I am truly grateful.
