Hard to believe that u left us last Monday 4 of December our hearts are broken and shattered into pieces. Our lives with out you are not the same and wont be ever again. To have u Jimmy as our best friend and one of our family means so much to us thats what u were part of us. I will always cherish never forget and remember the last 26 years that we had together. I will always remember our chats laughter dinner out and days out in dublin. It is with the deepest sorrow I have heard of Jems passing. I have great memories over the years and spent many an hour playing chess,scrabble,discussing current affairs and just having good times with this gentleman whom I respected as a great friend. He was a body of knowledge, interesting, and always wanting to impart knowledge or an interest in puzzles to the younger folk.

To Jems immediate family please accept my deepest condolences. And I also extend my deepest condolences to all the folk from Terenure and beyond who were friends of this man, and who I know will be deeply missed.

I have known Jem all my life, we were good friends ,he was like my other uncle , im really going to miss him ,he was a gentle soul and a very funny one too ! ,he is reunited with his best friend Jacko now .
