James honestly changed my life in more than one way. I will never forget the day we met in the hospital as I walked in I heard an Irish voice strong powerful and as I sat down looking at him I thought to myself wow I really want to meet him. He’s got a funky accent as I am from South Africa and I’ve never heard such a strong Irish accent, but from the very first moment we met it was honestly a friendship that could never break the first time we ever spoke on the phone which was a few weeks later after he had his first operation he told me that the day I l phoned him. We ended up talking for five hourslaughing and chatting about all sorts of walks of life as we both suffered from cancer we decided before he started any treatment that we would go to Whitby for him to enjoy life as he knew it and honestly it was a blast with all the music singing and laughing you would’ve thought the party would’ve never ended but I tell you something. He honestly knew how to make somebody that felt so insignificant feel so needed accepted and felt like I belonged somewhere for a season and I will never forget him. I could talk to him about anything and he would always give me advice. If I cried he would wipe the tears away. If I laughed he would laugh with me. I knew him as my very own Irish polo bear my wish for my polar bear is is that he finds his true love and be loved the way he should be fly high and I hope you’re happy I will never forget you
