Jim what can I say , we first met when I was 14 and you were 20 at work ,you were like an older brother to me and we remained best friends ever since .The banter and great wit you carried all through your life didn't go unnoticed.We had great craic and never more so when we joined you in England on a few occasions especially for your 60th birthday with our boys . We never forgot eachother's birthday with a phone call when you lived in England and at home.We are so sorry for your loss Eamon, the Byrne family,Ambrose , Vincent ,Jim Mc, your many friends in Ireland and England and neighbours. Miss you already Jim / James T. Until we meet again old friend .VINCENT .

I’ve known Jim the majority of my life and he even looked after me as a child a few times. What a great character with an infectious laugh and witty humour. He will be sadly missed by many people fond of him in east London a testament to his great character. My sincere condolences to his family. May he now rest in peace.
