My deepest condolences to Breda and extended Hayles family.
Only learned of Jims passing recently.
Worked in Sandyford for many years.Jim was always a gentleman.
I have fond memories of his sense of humour.
May his gentle spirit rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Gus wife and family what a gentleman and fellow soldier we servered together from 1970 and I learned so much from this pure genius and gentle soul all my early bangs in life in the army Gus was always there to give his infinite wisdom and experience I will miss you dear friend,rest in Jesus arms until we meet up again Gus.
I'm so sorry for hearing late of his passing a pure and trusted comrade.

Sad to hear of Mr Hayles passing, fond memmories of that whistle he used to do at the door, was it a phone noise or a bird, long time ago now. Mrs Hayles, jimmy, the Hayles family and friends, my thoughts are with you all this time.

Gus was the platoon sergeant of my recruit platoon in Griffith Barracks in 1980. He was an absolute gentleman and held in high regard by everyone. I think of him often. Unfortunately I only heard of his passing today, I would have liked to pay my respects in person at his funeral. My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace.
