James passed our house for a good dozen years in his tractor on the way to his farm in Lacken ....I'd say 15 mph was max he was doing and we christened him "Speedy".... we always got a salute from him....for last few years he passed down in his car on his way to New Ross and we still got a salute but don't think he was travelling must faster!!!!!
In fairness to him he was always checking his mirrors and would pull in and stop so we could pass him out !!!
