My deepest sympathy Anna. I have lovely memories of you and Seamus from those distant years in “George Toole’s”. You were both always joyful. Lord have mercy on his sweet soul, may he rest in peace and may you be consoled in the love of Jesus and Our Blessed Mother Mary.

My heart felt condolences to you Auntie Ann, in the sad loss of Jim. You were both very kind and welcoming to John and to me. Jim had such a great sense if humor, his laugh and his smile brightened up the entire place. He will be sadly missed.
Sending love and prayers to you Ann, at this very difficult time.

Dear Uncle Jim,
We will miss you terribly. I’ll never forget how you had us all falling out of our seats with laughter with your stories at our last visit. Loads and loads of love to you and Anna from the Duckett Irelands and Irelands. Dad’s waiting right up there with a “proper drink” for you.

To Dearest Uncle Jim,
In moments like this words fall short but happy memories of you and the stories you told I will hold dear. I seek comfort in knowing that Granny and all your siblings will be there waiting and ready to fuss over their beloved little brother.
With tons of love

Sympathy to Anne and the extended family at the passing of Shamie (Jim)
Jim , thank you for all the lovely memories of when Anthony first introduced me to you and Ann back in 1977 . We stayed with you and you made us so welcome , the look of shock on my face as Ann produced 36 sausage rolls and 24 cream cakes and there was only the 4 of us , and the kettle was on for tea every 20 minutes , we still laugh at that . I have never known a man so devoted to his wife ,.I will treasure the times we spent with you in Eastbourne and remember you always . A true gentleman rest in peace Jim , Linda Byrne ,
We are so sad at the passing of my dear Uncle Jim. We have never known a man as caring and loving ,matched with a charming wit and fierce intellect. I have treasured memories of fishing with him from the bank of his lovely bungalow as a young lad, we even caught a fish !. Above all, I will remember his complete love for Anne , a love that never wavered and shone as an example to us all. Thank you Jim, it was a privilege to know you.. I will miss our weekly chats.God bless you Jim..rest in peace.

I am writing on behalf of my mother Marie, and all my family. We will miss you dearly, Jim and we feel honoured to have had you touch our lives in so many positive ways over all these years. A Maori saying here in New Zealand states, 'footprints in the sand get washed away by time, but imprints on our hearts will live on forever'. You have been an inspiration, a source of great joy, laughter and support since you were a little lad and walked miles to school each day with my mum. Your enduring love for your wonderful Anna has been a powerful example to all of us. The sadness we feel today is lessened a little by knowing that you will live on in our hearts forevermore.
