My sincere sympathies to you Rose, and all your family on the passing of your dear husband Jim. I hope it gives you some comfort that at least he is reunited in eternal peace with your beautiful Rachel, and your family has gained another guardian angel. You are a remarkably strong woman Rose. My heart is broken for all of you! I have prayed so hard for Jim, Rose and all the family over the years. The deaths of Rachel and Ann had an awful affect on me even though I don’t know you. I have admired all of you for your dignified strength through that most horrendous time! I remember seeing an interview where Rose quoted a poem called the ‘Master Weaver’s Plan’ ..
‘oft times he weaveth sorrow
And I in foolish pride
Forget he sees the upper
And I the underside’

I don't know you but have always watched with total admiration rose and James and your families fight for justice over the years for Rachel and how precious she was to you all. Also how you stayed strong when you lost your other daughter and sister ann years later. I read rose book finding Rachel and was totally in awe of you as a woman and your husband James and all the Callaly family for how you and your family all pulled together and stayed strong for Rachel and Anne during those difficult times over the past 20 years since Rachel's murder and how you all suferred such dreadful heart break during that time. Remembering yourself Rose and Jim at the Australian Association Meetings many years ago in Newman House and then when you emigrated to Perth Western Australia, we had a lovely evening with you at your home there in Scarborough. You may remember that all my family had emigrated to WA in 1970 so I used visit there quite often.
I have thought of you so very often over the years.
