Sadly we have only just this minute, learned of the passing of a very dear family friend. Jim was the truest of family friends for many, many years. My brothers, Brian and Gerrard had the pleasure of working for him for a number of years in the bakery in Dundrum, and always kept in touch. Jim called on my mother, to check that she was okay for a good number of years. Indeed it was he who introduced her to EWTN to see Mass on TV every day. Thinking of Vyvyan, Joan and families. Jim will be forever in our thoughts and prayers.
From Mrs. Dunne & family, Nutgrove Avenue, Churchtown.
Dear Joan, and all the family,

My prayers and sympathy are with you at this time. We look back over many years of the gift your Dad has been to my family.

May he rest now in God´s peace.

Triona.
The Harvey Family would like to send condolence to the Flannery family.

Jim was a friend to us for many years. He was a gifted baker and he was greatly admired by us. He was a frequent visitor to our family home.

I am sure his family will miss his gentle nature.

Rest in Peace Jim.

The Harvey's.
Jimmy really was an incredibly kind and warm man, and was such a friend to our mother, Carrie, in the years after our fathers death in 1994, and was an amazing support to her in later years as altzheimers and the fog of confusion overtook her. We could not have kept mam in her own home for so long without the constant care that Jimmy provided. Our family will never forget him and will be eternally grateful to him. May he rest in peace.
So sorry to hear the sad news, he will be greatly missed.
