I first met Jim in 1978 and we were great friends for a number of years going to GAA matches together etc.

I am so sorry to hear that he has passed away and extend my sincere sympathy to his family and in particular to Luke who did work experience in my company.

Jim was a great footballer who played for St Vincent’s in Dublin and also wore the Dublin jersey at various levels.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jim for years through the accountancy firm I work for. Jim would ring me about work but we would always have the chats. Anytime I saw his name come up on my mobile I was always happy to chat to Jim. He was a gentleman. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.
