My earliest memories is was of Jim playing with my father Sean with Arravale Rovers. Back in the early 80s he gave me a lift back to Tipp from Galway, my fathers home county, when he was driving for Kielys bakery. Fair play and rest easy Jim

So many great memories of our times in “The Glebe”.

I often had a great chat and laugh with Jimmy down through the years... one of the funniest encounters we ever had was the evening we met in Nelly O'Brien's Tipp Town and got talking about nippy hurling corner forwards... the term "turn on a six pence" was mentioned... then I turned to Jimmy and asked him, where did that statement originate... then Jimmy smiled, and replied... "was there was a smaller coin"...
