Eileen and Family I'm so sorry for you all my heart is going out to you I can't be at jims funeral but some of my family I was very fond of jim a gentleman and always a smile and a joke he was one of the best and he his suffering is over and he is with all his relations I'd say there is a great hulie going on up there to welcome Jim after all that's what all our Larkin family did did best a good ol sing song

So sorry to hear about Jim, always a pleasure to work with, great character and always great fun to be around. He will be sadly missed.

I knew Jim through my friend Clodagh O'Rourke, and from all the times he would call in to Pat and the late Mick for his lunch when he worked for Spring Grove, he was such an easy- going fun man and many a joke I shared with him over the years. I'm so sad to hear of his sudden passing and I would like to offer you all my sincere sympathy, I cant make the funeral but you are in my thoughts and prayers, may he rest in peace with Mick and all he's family & friends

In all the many years Jim and I were colleagues I can never remember ever seeing him in bad humour. He never complained about anything, despite the heavy cross's he and Eileen were given to bear.
He's gone straight through the Pearly Gates.... without being asked to show his boarding card.
